MobileCorp has recently completed a specialist partner program with VMware to deepen our capability in the Workspace ONE product suite.

MobileCorp was nominated for the invitation-only program by Australian distributor, Ingram Micro.
The 12-month program included four milestones covering deep learning across
- the deployment and management of Workspace ONE
- the VMware Horizon product which elevates the digital workspace by delivering virtual desktops and apps from on-premises to the cloud
- digital workspace competencies including ethics and compliance
- technical training around Test Drives and Demos
As part of the program, MobileCorp also chose a real life use case to guide through the buying journey, providing solution scoping, demo, test drive and proposal.

Case Study: Building a custom VMware profile to lock down Sydney Metro Trains devices
The Challenge
Metro Trains required a rugged mobile phone for 150 field force staff. The device had to meet industry standards being heavy duty, waterproof, dustproof, shock resistant and temperature-proof, with a long-lasting battery life.
Metro Trains required the ability to remote manage the devices in the field, and to lock down each device to corporate-approved apps to ensure it was only used for work purposes.
