MobileCorp achieves ISO for Information Security and Quality Management

MobileCorp announces it has achieved double ISO certification in ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management Systems, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.

The certifications reflect MobileCorp’s determination to keep pushing the boundaries with deploying innovative 5G networking and mobility management, while ensuring robust information security and quality management

This achievement caps off a successful 12 months for MobileCorp, who was named the Telstra Mobility Partner of the Year 2023, and also took out the CRN Impact Award for Workforce Empowerment.

What is ISO 27001 for Information Security ?

ISO 27001 is the world's best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet.

Being ISO 27001 certified means that MobileCorp has put in place a system to manage risks related to the security of data we own or handle.

With cyber-crime on the rise and new threats constantly emerging, it can seem difficult or even impossible to manage cyber-risks. ISO 27001 helps organisations become risk-aware and proactively identify and address weaknesses.

ISO 27001 promotes a holistic approach to information security: vetting people, policies and technology. An information security management system implemented according to this standard is a tool for risk management, cyber-resilience and operational excellence.

What is ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems?

ISO 9001 is for organisations wanting to continuously improve the quality of their products and services and consistently meet their customers’ expectations. 

ISO 9001 is the most widely used quality management standard in the world. The Standard specifies requirements for the establishmentmaintenance, and continuous improvement of a quality management system, and defines seven quality management principles with a strong customer service and continuous improvement focus.

Independently verified by Compass Assurance Services

MobileCorp's ISOs are independently audited and verified by Compass Assurance Services.

CAS is an Accredited Conformity Assessment Body with the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).

This entitles Compass to certify management systems in the fields of Quality, Safety and Environment. The criteria for ISOs audit is often International and Australian & New Zealand standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 and other normative documents.
