MobileCorp has promoted Peter Jonson to a new role as General Manager - Sales and Managed Services.
Focus on quality experience at every touch point
The role brings together all customer-facing teams to provide a sharp focus on delivering a quality end-to-end service for MobileCorp customers.
The new role spans responsibility for the sales team, customer success team, customer business intelligence reporting, and the managed service consultants who provide day-to-day support services to MobileCorp customers.

Transitioning to Communications ICT MSP
Peter has been at MobileCorp for 13 years, most recently as Managed Services Director. Over the past five years, he has delivered on the vision of MobileCorp's managing director, Stephen Aravopoulos, to transition MobileCorp from a pure-play Telstra mobility partner to become an award-winning full service Communications ICT MSP.
Peter has led the development of a Managed Service stack that spans mobility, 5G networking, In-building cellular solutions, and IT services.
The MobileCorp Managed Service portfolio has been adopted by hundreds of Telstra Enterprise and Midmarket customers, both as part of their Adaptive Mobility plan construct, and also as a standalone service.

Developing innovative 5G managed services
MobileCorp is widely recognised as a leading Australian '5G for Business' MSP and Peter has been at the forefront of developing our 5G networking services.
He led the MobileCorp team that worked closely with Telstra and Cradlepoint to develop the Telstra Enterprise Wireless solution powered by Cradlepoint edge routers. As part of this solution, MobileCorp developed the first Cradlepoint Managed Service in Australia.
Subsequently, MobileCorp has deployed many of Australia's first 5G networks providing primary connectivity or wireless network redundancy across multiple Telstra enterprise customers.
Off the back of this work, MobileCorp was named Telstra Innovation Partner of the Year 2021, Cradlepoint MSP of the Year 2022, and CRN Impact Workforce Empowerment award 2023. The external recognition culminated in MobileCorp being named Telstra Mobility Partner of the Year last November.
Delivering record-breaking Telstra Enterprise Wireless project
A highlight of the past year has been the delivery of Telstra's largest 5G Enterprise Wireless deal to date.
Peter led the MobileCorp team collaborating with Telstra and Cradlepoint (now known as Ericsson) to design, deploy and provide ongoing management of a 5G business continuity solution for a customer with more than 320 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
The deal was hugely instrumental in MobileCorp being named the Telstra Mobility Partner of the Year 2023.
